Farmstead, still in use, depicted on historic OS maps. The 1st edition OS map shows a complex of buildings (possibly two farmsteads) comprising a U-plan steading with additional east-west range at the south end of the east wing and attached horse mill to the west, three small rectangular buildings to the south of the steading, a long range of three buildings to the south, and, north of the west end of this range, another long range with attached horse mill. By the time of the 2nd edition OS map the east-west range on the U-plan steading appears to have been replaced by a rectangular building. The westernmost building of the southernmost long range has been removed and an east wing added to the adjacent long range forming an L-plan steading. Current maps indicate that the three small buildings and the rest of the south long range have been removed, as have the horse mills and the north wing of the L-plan steading. A photographic survey of the remaining wing of the former L-plan steading was carried out in 2017 prior to proposed conversion.
