Full Description
Three triangular stone plaques built into the wall on the east side of the road. They bear family crests and may be of 17th century date. The plaques were formerly built into the fabric of No. 1 Castle Street (constructed circa 1950) but may have originally formerly formed part of the fabric of Errol's Lodging, a 16th century townhouse (NJ74NW0012) demolished in 1974. They were moved to the present location ahead of construction of the Turriff relief road.
