Full Description
Farmstead, still in use, depicted on historic OS maps. The 1st edition map shows a group of five buildings, one an L-plan, and the westernmost a house set within a garden. To the north is a pond with lade running to the building east of the house. By the 2nd edition, the L-plan range had been extended to a U-plan and a new building added to the north, the easternmost building had been removed, and the house had been removed with the addition of a new T-plan building to the south. There have since been further alterations and additions and the pond has been infilled. Site visit by CFA Archaeology in 2012 ahead of proposed overhead line works found no visible remains of the mill lade.
