Full Description

Farmstead, in use, depicted on the 1st edition OS map as an L-plan steading with two rectangular buildings to the east and southeast, one of which is probably the farmhouse, and a probable mill building to the south with sluice and mill pond. On the 2nd edition map of 1888, the probable mill building has been extended northwards. Today only the southern part of the mill building survives along with the steading and farmhouse. Site visit by Clyde Archaeology in March 2025 in connection with proposed overhead line refurbishment (NJ73SW0201) found no visible remains of the millpond.
