Full Description
Farmstead still in use. The OS 1st edition 1867 map shows a U-shaped steading 'denoted as offices', open to the south, with a building attached to the north side and a smaller one within the court. To the east is a sluice and rectangular pond. A rectangular building stands to the south, and further south are a small rectangular building and L-plan building with attached enclosures, named Lofthillock. The layout is essentially unchanged on the 2nd edition OS map. Current maps indicate that the buildings all remain in use with further additions to the steading. The pond has been infilled and a building stands on the site.
