Full Description

A granite mortsafe in shape of a coffin, lies in Inverurie churchyard, although iron ones which also once lay in the churchyard are no longer there (and presumed to have been sold for old iron).. The mortsafe tackle formerly used in the churchyard for moving the mortsafes is now in Inverurie Museum (above the Library).
