Full Description
Remains of a cairn, which originally covered 'nearly half an acre and was surrounded with a circle of small stones on end'. It was opened between 1832 and 1842, and contained a cist and two urns. A ploughed down mound at this location is almost certainly the remains of this cairn. At NJ 7916 2486 there is a stone set on end which may be part of the original kerb (NJ72SE0244).
