Full Description

Square dovecot, dating probably to the 18th Century. Constructed of dark granite pinned boulder rubble with lighter granite dressings, it has a pitched roof and a single rat course, and all of the slate nesting boxes are intact. An armorial panel above the door on the south is a damaged Elphinstone coat-of-arms of the 16th Century, and is probably from above the old front door of Logie House (NJ72NW0059).
