Full Description
Former farmstead and mill, probably dating to the early 19th Century, now converted to residential use. The mill was a corn threshing mill, and is a single-storey and attic rubble building with the remains of a small overshot wheel. Described in the Aberdeenshire OS Name Books, 1865-1871 volume 24 (OS1/1/24/46) as: 'An ordinary farm house with offices, garden etc attached. So called from formerly being a Corn Mill. The property of Captain William A. Skene.'. The tenant at this time was a Mr John Philip.
