Full Description
Remains of possible burial cairn identified during a walkover survey carried out by CFA Archaeology in April 2024 (NJ71SE0166), prior to the proposed development of a hydrogen plant. The cairn comprised a small mound of rounded boulders and stones, measuring approximately 3 m by 5 m and 0.4 m in height. Based upon the size, shape and location it has been interpreted as being more likely a potential prehistoric burial cairn than a stone clearance cairn.
