Full Description

Farmstead still in use. The OS 1st edition map shows a U-plansteading with an attached horse-mill on its north side and with two buildings and an enclosure to the south. By the time of the 2nd edition map, new buildings had been added to the west and south of the steading. Current maps show the house, at the south end of the group, to be still in use, but only a single large building on the site of the steading and associated buildings, and it is not clear from the map whether this replaces or incorporates these earlier buildings.
