Full Description
Farmstead, in use, depicted from the 2nd edition OS map. The farm comprises a large U-plan steading, open to the southeast, with a small building the courtyard and a horsemill attached to the east face of the eastern wing. there is a well to the east, and a farmhouse and well to the south. It replaced two earlier farms (Lower Tilty NJ71NE0270 and Upper Tilty NJ71NE0143) and may incorporate elements from these earlier structures.
