Full Description

Mansion house, built on site of earlier manor. The present building dates to the 18th century, with early 19th century additions by Archibald Simpson, and is now in use as a hotel. Harled with slated roofs. It was built for D Forbes Mitchell. See NJ71NE0161 for designed landscape, NJ71NE0128 for walled garden, NJ71NE0129 for Home Farm.
