Summary
Remains of a domestic site, Site No. 3 for Boyndie World War II airfield (MAB17645), many of the concrete hut and building bases, and air raid shelters are now within dense woodland.

Full Description
At the northeast end of the wood are several bases and emergency air raid (blast) shelters. The end of a large brick-built hut stands two storeys high, with an entrance in the northeast elevation.
