Full Description
The group of huts are visible on RAF aerial photographs taken in 1946, which show at least 43 huts, mainly of Nissen type. Also visible are a large concrete walled compound at NJ 62428 63510 with entrances on the north and south sides and at least four air raid shelters (NJ 62748 63659, NJ 62702 63655, NJ 62689 63634,NJ 62653 63633) visible on the OS 5th edition map. Most of the hut bases are depicted on the current OS 1:2500 scale digital map.
