Full Description

House, still in use, built in circa 1720-30 with later additions. It is a three-storey and attic, five-bay, harled house, with painted ashlar margins. The centre door is masked by a late 19th century rustic bargeboarded porch, with narrow windows that are paired in the outer bays. The outer bays have late 19th century canted wallhead dormers. The timber sash and case windows use plate glass glazing, four-pane in dormers. The slate roof has a pottery ridge and corniced end stacks. Inside, a stone wheel stair has moulded risers and chamfered newel post, which rises full height. The first floor landing has a heavy moulded cornice.
