Full Description
Pill-box, dating from World War II. A stone and concrete pillbox built into the wall facing up the south breakwater at Banff harbour. Two loop-holes, retaining the stepped metal inserts, and a blocked doorway are visible. RCAHMS visit 2008 noted that about 8 m to the north is a circular metal plate with a central hole and notch either side, its function is unknown.
