Full Description

A 2-stage, cylindrical dovecot in Gothic style built circa 1790, currently roofless (1990). Harled, with grey ashlar dressings and chamfered reveals. There is a tall, narrow, pointed arch doorway to the north with arrow slit opening above. Pointed arch panel with tiered flight-holes to second stage. Three stone ledges, nine flight holes. An arrow slit opening with window above is repeated twice around dovecot. There is a cruciform apex to the arrow slit to the south. Brick and stone nests lining interior.
