Full Description
Long cairn orientated north-south. The mound consists of earth and stones, now covered with turf and gorse. At the southwest this is a roughly circular mound up to 19m across and between 1m and 1.5m high, a lower mound extending from the northeast side for another circa 40m. Some large stones can be seen protruding from the side of the mound and two earthfast stones on the southwest side may be part of a kerb. There is no surface evidence for a chamber. The difference in the physical nature of the mound and 'tail' suggested the monument may have had several phases of construction and use. No finds are known.
