Full Description
Former corn mill, of later 18th century date with 19th century alterations. Gable end to road with loading bay at first floor. There is a four-spoke overshot all-iron wheel, 0.25m by 0.76m, driving a horizontal pump. There has been a mill on the site since 1289 (Simpson). Still in use in 1936. Shown as a corn mill on the OS 1st edition map.
