Full Description
Late 18th century former stable block which is now cottages, built within the Dunlugas House designed landscape (NJ65NE0096). On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as a square courtyard building with extensions to the north and south. By the 2nd edition the extensions and the southern wall of the courtyard have been removed. Constructed of random rubble with ashlar dressings, with a modern corrugated asbestos roof. Small windows at first floor, blocked at front, open to rear, indicating former hayloft use. Hayloft door and stone forestair to gable end.
