Full Description

A 2-storey former mansion house of several different dates. The south part is mid 18th century with skewputts and later large centre bow containing a staircase. To the south-west of the house is a featureless walled garden within which is a good slate sundial, though damaged. A range of buildings along the south west side can be seen on an aerial photograph taken in 1977.

From mid-18thC; Lt Alexander Shand acquired estate in 1803; Sundial dated 1847.
