Full Description
The Forgue war memorial stands in the churchyard of Forgue church and commemorates the dead of both World War I and II. It is a tall circular pillar with an angled 'cut-off' top and stands on a small circular plinth. There is a shallow wreath carved into it, above the inscription on the front of the solid rectangular base. Each face of the base bears names. The base stands on a three-step plinth, the side of the bottom two of which are of rough hewn granite. It was unveiled 15 February 1920. There are also three war graves in the churchyard.
