Full Description
Remains of a two quarries recorded during walkover survey in 2022 by Mott Macdonald in advance of 33kV refurbishment works (NJ64NW0147). Both are circa 3 m deep, the northern one oblong measuring 4 m by 7 m, the southern more circular measuring circa 5 m by 4 m. Both are overgrown and there is a large amount of quarry rubble and debris lining the edge of the southern one.
