Full Description
The Rayne war memorial stands beside the road outside the church at Kirkton of Rayne, and commemorates the dead of World War I. It is a simple Celtic cross with interlacing on the head. At the base of the shaft is a crown with a small cross lying within it. Below is a rough hewn rectangular granite block with the front flat for the names. It sits on a two-step base of roughly hewn granite. It was unveiled 7 January 1920. Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive.
