Full Description

Remains of a farmstead depicted on the OS 1st edition map comprising three unroofed buildings and part of an enclosure. RCAHMS field visit 2001 noted that fragments of the association field system were still visible (the best preserved being three conjoined fields to the NE) although the farmstead was not located. The farmstead is depicted on a map of the 'Lands and Baronies of Monymusk dating from 1774. Forestry Commission field survey 2007 ahead of forestry operations discovered the remains of the farmstead, NGR given as NJ 6716 2077.
