Full Description
Farmstead still in use. Both the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps show an F-shaped steading and another rectangular building. A Standing Building Survey was carried out in December 2010 by Cameron Archaeology in advance of the proposed demolition and conversion of the farm buildings into holiday accommodation. The survey was somewhat hampered by limited access to the buildings, caused by the ruinous condition of some of the buildings as well as the excess build-up of snow. All of the buildings were photographed in their current condition and a phase plan was prepared.
