Full Description

Mansion dating to probably mainly the 18th century. On site of an earlier house. Long low single-storey, U-plan, constructed of pinned boulder rubble. There is a 17th century dated panel. The gables of wings were rebuilt in 19th century with bay windows finials and porch inserted in angle. There is a 2-storey block of offices at the rear. The house was used as an auxiliary hospital during World War I. See NJ62NW0105 for designed landscape.
