Full Description
Small holding, still in use, depicted on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps as a small rectangular steading with a small rectangular farmhouse. Both of these buildings appear to survive today, but with alterations. Described in the sale particulars of Tonley Estate in 1947 as follows: 'The farmhouse built of granite and slate, contains sitting room, kitchen, two bedrooms. The farm steading, built of granite with iron and asbestos roofs, include byre for 6, stable for 2, small root house, straw barn, threshing floor and threshing machine'.
