Farmstead, still in use, depicted on the 1st edition OS map of 1867 as a rectangular steading with arectangular building and the remains of a second building to the east and three rectangular buildings to the west. On the 2nd edition map of 1888, the building and remains of building to the east are not shown. Today, only one of the buildings to the west plus part of the steading survive. Built of stone with slate roof, it contains two bedrooms, boxroom, sitting room, kitchen, milk house and small scullery. The farm steading is similarly built and includes engine house, straw barn, threshing floor, byre for 22, small byre (two stalls), turnip house, single-bay cart shed, hen house, 3-stall stable and detached chaumer'.
