Full Description
Remains of a sheepfold which is shown on the OS maps from the 2nd edition map onwards. Forestry Commission field survey 2007 recorded the remains of an enclosed yard approx. 16x12.5m with a small building in one corner, approx 4 x 3.5m and what appears to be a house approx 8 x 4.5m forming one of the shorter sides of the enclosure. At least three possible clearance cairns approximately 5m in diameter surround the remains and support the suggestion that this was a small farm.
