Full Description

Former mill and farmstead, now converted to residential usage. A small farmstead with cornmill is depicted at this location on the OS map of 1867 with a mill dam to the southwest with lade leading northwards to the mill. By the 1888 edition a sawmill and cornmill to the east are depicted. The 2006 map shows that the buildings still stand, but the pond has been drained, however its site has not been redeveloped. The Grain mill to the west is of coursed granite with a large square pyramid roofed kiln and a sawmill to north and south. There is a large overshot all-iron waterwheel. The workings are disused but entire except for pinion.
