Full Description

Former tollhouse, now in residential use, built in the early 19th century and extended in 1975. It is shown on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps as a rectangular building with a curved south end. Current maps show it has been extended to the north-east. It is a single-storey building constructed from coursed granite. The southern end is made up of a three-window bow. The roof is piended and there is a diagonal chimney shaft to the north.
