Full Description
Remains of a parish church of 17th century date, built possibly on the site of the 13th century church of Keig, dedication unknown. The remains are roofless but otherwise in good condition. The church is rectangular, rubble built, with straight skews with wide skewputts. It has an unusual west window narrower above transom. There are two entrances in the south wall now filled with iron gates. A small square font-bowl in the east wall is now broken in two parts. The interior of the church is used as the burial aisle for the Forbes and there is a monument to James 16th Lord Fornes on the east wall. The churchyard contains some 18th century stones.
