Full Description
Walled garden and dovecot associated with Findrack House (NJ60SW0019). The garden and dovecot lie immediately to the west of the house, within the designed landscape (NJ60SW0035). There are old coped garden walls to the north and west sides. The circular dovecot occupies the south-west corner that is rubble-built with pinnings and a conical roof. The garden has two table sundials. The sundial within the garden was erected by Adam Charles in 1846, and has a metal dial on a baluster. The sundial to the south of the garden is an octagonal stone table, dating to around 1850.
Period Notes
Listed 16/04/1971. There are also two sundials, one from 1846 and the other circa 1850.
