Full Description
Remains of a recumbent stone circle. When recorded in 1875, it consisted of a recumbent and both flankers on a circle of seven upright stones and a space for an eighth. Within was an unbroken stone kerb and within this was another kerb. By 1900 only one stone remained on the southern arc which is surrounded by an uneven bank of earth and stones, presumably outcast from robbing. The other stones were removed by a local farmer for building purposes. The bank is 3m wide by 0.3m high, the original kerb 13.71m in diameter and the inner kerb 3.96m in diameter. Only the one stone is Scheduled, on the south side.
