Full Description

Remains of a farmstead and enclosure that is depicted on the 1st edition OS map. It shows a rectangular building on the south side of a garden enclosure, and to the south a larger tree-lined enclosure which has another long rectangular building along its east side. A small building lies some distance to the north. To the southeast lay a mill fed by a lade and pond to the north. The layout remains unchanged on the OS 2nd edition map. All are now ruinous. RCAHMS field visit recorded the remains, which stand up to 2.2m in height. The remains of the wheel pit of the mill survive but there is now no trace of the mill lade.
