Full Description

War memorial, commemorating World War I and II. In the form of a circa 10 ft high cenotaph of Kemnay Granite with a domed top on a stepped base, situated at the entrance to St John's Church (NJ56SW0055). Inscription and names in incised black lettering on two sides, with a black Maltese Cross at the top of the inscription. Made by J Robertson and Son, Hardgate, Aberdeen. Unveiled June 1921 by Prof. Ashley Mackintosh. Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive.
