Full Description

An earthfast stone situated on a slight spur in an area of stone clearance. It is pyramidal in shape, measuring 0.83m high and 2.43m in girth at its base. Although initially suggested to be prehistoric in date (by F. R. Coles in 1906), it was suggested by the OS (NKB) in July 1967 to be a 'doubtful antiquity'. Also known as 'Pattenbringan'.
