Full Description

The remains of an early 19th-century mill consisting of a single storey and attic rubble building on an L-plan. It is depicted on the OS map of 1846 as a complex of buildings and houses forming a small settlement. To the south of what survives today was another corn mill, with a long range to the southeast of it, and three further small buildings and an enclosure. Two mill ponds lay to the north of it, along with an L-shaped building and a single building. By the 1888 edition all the buildings to the south had gone, apart from the mill.
