Full Description

A German Junkers 88 bomber is recorded as having crashed at Craiginour (also named as Craignor Hillside) on 5 September 1941. The exact location is unclear. The plane was completing a maritime patrol flight along the east coast when it flew into high ground. All four crew members were killed: they are buried in Dyce cemetery (Aberdeen City HER NJ81NE0061)
