Full Description
Pill-box, Type 28, part of the World War II, coastal defences. One of the few anti-tank pill-boxes to be found, it stands at the end of a line of anti-tank blocks across Sandend Bay (NJ56NE0038). One large loop-hole has steel plates set into the sides. A large doorway is at the back. Stands adjacent to a World War II Bren-gun pillbox (NJ56NE0040).
