Full Description
Whitehead is depicted on the OS map of 1846 as a small building with a large dam to its east. A long lade leads to the dam around Sillyearn Hill to the east. By 1888 another small building and an enclosure lie to the west. Both buildings survive today but the pond has gone. It is unknown if anything survives of the lade as the area is now afforested.
