Full Description

Distillery, in use, established in 1894, closed 1983, but re-opened in 1988. A medium-sized distillery with 3-storey 14 bay rubble block of maltings with a pyramidal kiln and a circular section brick chimney. Traditional earthen floor warehouses. Buildings and machines much modernised, but the original pot stills remain. Adjacent to the now demolished Knock station where there is a 6 rib cast-iron overbridge.
