Full Description
Remains of a hut circle and field system. Situated on the lower slopes of Knockhill. There is a small field system around the hut circle comprising of about 13 stone clearance heaps and a few vague lynchets obscured by deep heather. The hut circle is 13.3 - 14.3 m in diameter, over a turf covered bank of stone and earth up to 3 m wide. The bank stands up to 0.7 m high externally, but is reduced to only 0.3 m high internally by the presence of a low broad platform, which extends around much of the interior surface.
