Full Description
Remains of a large cairn, robbed in centre, recorded by OS site visit 1967 as circa 16m in diameter and 1.5m high. . Close by the west side are the indefinite remains of several small mounds. Forestry Commission survey recorded a large cairn circa 13m in diameter a NJ51925359, that appears to have suffered some significant damage. On the current OS maps a cairn is annotated further to the southwest at circa NJ51855355. but ACAS site visit in 1998 noted only one large stone in the vicinity that may be the remains of a cairn.
