Full Description

The very slight remains of stone and earth dykes can be seen on both sides of the path which cuts across the hill in an east-west direction. At its southern end the dyke turns east, roughly as a right angle, and heads down to the modern track where it disappears. This feature might relateto a small field depicted on an 18th century estate plan (RHP 2286) though that is only shown as being approximately three quarters of an acre in extent, whereas these remains would appear to have originally enclosed a larger area.
