Full Description
Remains of pre-improvement settlement. The remains consist of a house platform and associated enclosure dykes. They are partly overlain, on the north edge, by an improvement period dyke. The house appears to be of stone foundation and cill, turf walls, (non load-bearing) with the roof supported by timber couples. The settlement is noted on Roy's map of 1750, but is not named.
