Full Description
Remains of a late pre-improvement farmstead. The visible remains are of a longhouse with attendant enclosures. The longhouse is stone-built, but there are no indications of gables, consequently a hipped roof is possible. The longhouse has one entrance on the eastern side. The 1st and 2nd edition OS maps both show this farmstead as in use, together with enclosures to the north-west. Two of these enclosures are shown on the 2005 map.
