Full Description

Remains of three cairns on a slight eminence on the south edge of Clean Pool. There was once a large number of stones here but they have been removed for building purposes. The original diameters were much greater than revealed in 2005 by tree-planting operations. This revealed the limit of the cairn on the eastern side. A piece of late Neolithic/Bronze Age burnished pot was found approximately 50 south-southeast of the cairns.
